Why do any of you care? None of you are seeing profit or loss in this situation.
Some of you sound pissed, like T.J. Maxx personally offended you by selling cheaper iPads.
Now is a good time to get one if you don't already have one. Stop arguing about warranty, you should be getting Apple care on your idevice anyway.

Then please go visit www.csszengarden.com and see how user-applied changes break their designs to the point where elements are covered by others. Those designs usually apply to the W3 standards, and I bet they are far better at this things than either you or me.
Having valid (X)HTML/CSS code doesn't mean it's well-coded. Some designers still think that webpages are static images where they (should) have pixel-perfect control. I hate those websites, some even go to the length of putting actual text content inside a GIF file because the browser couldn't render their 5-pixels-high font correctly.
CSS Zen Garden shows how the web should be coded (XHTML structured content styled with CSS), but some of the designs (CSS files) are bad (yet use valid CSS code).
If you view CSS Zen Garden with CSS disabled, you'll still have access to the content. It won't be pretty, but it'll be there. Content is more important than style (style with no content is useless).

With every awful thing out there, bad news and other things that just bring down humanity in general, a picture of a girl group, whether they are your thing or not, is welcome. Just out of interest what do the other 10% use?
I'd assume the 'other' category would be a mix of Lightworks, Media100, Premiere Pro and maybe even Sony Vegas. Mizzurah posted a link to the most recent version of the survey I was trying to recall and it has Avid at 76%, FCP at just under 20% and 'other' w/just under 5%.

What do you expect?
1) Most people (AT&T and Verizon) are locked into contracts.
2) When the Verizon iPhone debuted in February, we were all expecting the iPhone 5 in 4-6 months. Why get locked into an iPhone 4 when the 5 was just a few months away?
If there were no contracts and the iPhone4 had debuted on both carriers at the same time, it would have gone very differently.

Skimming through the thread, is it just me or did nobody mention SubEthaEdit?!?!?! Greatest free text editor ever (it would be IMO the best except for BBEdit) especially for web design. Can't live without it. Even though commercial license is paid, personal license is free and unrestricted. Cool new stuff in 2.1 just released about two weeks ago. Collaborating over Rendezvous is ingenious.

would this superdrive upgrade (http://www.macresq.com/store/detail.php?prodID=P009644) be a good idea for my 12"pb? does everything seem compatible and of equal quality as the superdrive apple puts in the powerbooks? will the self install be difficult? what would be difficult about it if anything?

My cable bill makes me want to puke.. I'd hold my entertainment spending up against any on this forum..

It's because very few countries were in September and now nearly 24 hours later, most, if not all countries, are in September.
Anyhow onto topic :)
Took this one nearly 24 hours ago. It's an awesome screenshot of Batman from the Dark Knight (which I should hopefully get on Blu-ray soon, already have the movie in my iTunes library :D)

I have the white lights for the back of my tv for ambient lighting.. but 200$ worth of LEDs is a bit much for me haha.. I have trouble justifying buying another set for my other tv.

Can't you sort your library by name and manually select the dupes?
