Hello.
I have iPad 2, 16gb 3G. As you can see in the pic, left side of display has grey shadows (these are not yellow spots). Very annoying in the white background. So what are these, is it normal?http://img155.imageshack.us/i/imageaceb.jpg/

Soon we will only have one OS called iOSX
OSX 10.7 has iOS features that were sent "Back to the Mac"
iOS is getting OSX apps (Photoshop, Garage Band, iMovie, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Photo Booth.......)
OSX is getting apps originally designed for iOS
If you imagine iOS and OSX on a line
iOS......................|.....................OSX
They are moving in opposite directions toward each other.
......iOS................|..............OSX.......
Eventually, they will meet in the middle and we will have either 2 similar operating systems or simply a mix of the two.
I think Apple thinks that by taking the best of the two worlds they are creating a "better" user experience. I don't know if this is the case but I think that this is clearly the inevitable long-term outcome. Time will tell.

Where are all the people who were ranting here for years over ATT and wanting VERIZON?
Sure, there are many locked into contracts, but where are all the NEW customers that were ranting that they were waiting for a VERIZON iPhone and kept slamming ATT?
Is this due to "antennagate?" I seriously doubt that.
Apparently, they were the trolling vocal minority according to this report.
Either that or Apple & ATT's marketing campaign that pitted the advantages of GSM over CDMA actually worked. Hmm.
That and I honestly haven't seen nearly as many ads from VERIZON over the iPhone than when ATT had it exclusively & originally. I think VERIZON was busy counting the eggs before they hatched.

Bought a AEBS last month. I upgraded from a Linksys G router. My house is around 4-5 thousand sq. ft. Before with my linksys router it reached the master bedroom fine. (Router is located in the opposite corner of the house on the 1st floor). Now i barely get 1 bar or sometimes nothing. Anything i can do besides buying an airport express? I thought these N routers had more range; etc.

I'm sitting on 48-9k PPD right now. 950 @ 4ghz and 1750mhz on the shaders of the 460. Not too shabby.

Updated the Nvidia drivers to 266 and now the GTX 460s are both folding at 15K + each. That's an increase of 3-4k PPD each.

that's a nice upgrade! now just add that 920 @ 4ghz and you'll be smokin!

Do you have multiple iOS devices in the house? Or ones that come and go - like a friend visits and connects to your WiFi?
If so, there is an issue with some routers assigning the same IP to different devices and that will kick you off from time to time.
Resetting the router with both devices in the house will solve it. Happened to me when my Daughter visited and I connected her to my router. I kept loosing the WiFi. Then all was good after a router reboot. :)

It is a MacBook Pro i7 it stays on 24/7 and always sits on my desk I rarely transport it anywhere. So leaving the application running won't be a problem
