So Samsung believed Apple was violating it's patents all this time but decided to do nothing about it. Now that they have been pushed they decide to act. Sounds to me they are trying to find whatever they can to bite back at Apple.
Well it could be that they thought they had a mutual understanding with Apple that they could borrow some technologies from each other but now that Apple choose to sue (Apple waited too you know, the Galaxy S wasn't exactly launched two weeks ago) Samsung is not gonna let it slide. I'm not commenting on the validity of the claim but I want to point out that people should remember that patents aren't only for the tangible things we consumers see, like the similarities between iOS and Touchwiz, but also the transparent to us consumers- under the hood technology, for which Samsung holds lots of patents.

Right??? What does Microsoft have to do with Apple then? Did it become successful, then nearly go bankrupt, then become successful on the return of Mr Gates again? I have the Lion beta installed, and it's by far their best release yet. Goodluck with the alienware.
Do me a favor mate, if your going to pick on my apparent spelling (loose is the correct spelling ;) but I meant lose I guess) then at least quote what I ACTUALLY typed rather then make up what you think I typed? It would help matters if you can't be bothered to respond with anything useful. Everyone likes to try new things. 22 years is a long time. Most of us would like to drop what we're doing and try something new. Unfortunately, unlike Bertrand, most of us don't have the money to do it.
Yeah, drop what your experienced in, what you have done for 22 years!! Leave a massively successful company... Yeah, wow, a laptop, I'm so glad you 'Assumed' I would want a laptop! I was actually thinking of a desktop that is expandable, performs far better then any iMac, costs a lot less then a Mac Pro..... And Windows 7 is pretty damn good and flash works on it...

Geez, dude, it's all about saving time so you *do* have more time on your own. For example, texting is now used in situations where you would have called/answered a phone call before. Texting is more efficient because you can just put off answering the text until later (you could also not take a call and just call the person back later, but you wouldn't know how urgent the call was unless you took the time to check your voice mail if they left one).
Likewise, I use the humble web features on my Sony Ericsson phone a *lot*, to look up restaurant/bar addresses, movie times, etc. when I am out and about. Again, normally I would have no other recourse other than calling 411 or MovieFone, or finding a newsstand/bookstore where I could possibly look the information up. It would just be a time-saver to have faster, easier access to information from my phone.

Ok so I was having some timeline issues with TweetDeck for iPhone (just weird times for posts) so I decided to go ahead and give Tweetie 2 a shot.
WOW... what an app! It's smooth, fast, responsive and easy to use. LOVE the offline capabilities. Couldn't care less about PUSH - it would kill my battery.
So far, best Twitter app i've ever used!

Apple are putting in $25bn quarters, so I reckon we can predict a close on to $100bn turnover for the 2011/2012 year. Which isn't far off the 2009 figure for Samsung Electronics at $117bn turnover.
As for the 2-3 times - then you are comparing the whole of Samsung Group, which I'm sure you said that you weren't comparing. But even if we were comparing the whole group, it's $100bn vs $175bn. So not 2-3 times. Maybe 3 times if you are comparing 2009 - which again is slightly boring since Apple's financial muscle has increased hugely in the last 18-24 months.
At best, you were being disingenius when you said "2-3" times for the electronics group, (wiki shows $65bn vs $117bn), when 65 is clearly more than half of 117. As you have trouble with maths, 65*2 is 130. And, taking no chances, 117 is less than 130.
So quite where your "2-3" comes from I have no idea.

Some people need to chill out. If your 3GS (or whatever) is getting old and you need a new phone, then go and get one. Why are you waiting if your phone needs to be replaced? Either you can wait for the new iPhone or you can't. It will come out when Apple are good and ready to release it. They owe us nothing and have never made any official annoucements regarding the release date for the new iPhone.
Bottom line is this: you have two choices...
1) If you're not happy with waiting for the iPhone 5, then there are plenty of other phones to choose from. Vote with your feet.
2) If you want to stick with Apple, then stop complaining and just wait.
