Call customer service - select the address change option and when you get to a customer service agent give them the receipt number and they will verify the information on it. If it doesnt match they will advise you. Then you know if its your receipt number or not.

Just an update -
I just called USCIS for the FP notice and she mentioned that the appointment has been ordered but the notice has not been sent yet. Probably because the newark ASC must be overbooked. She asked me to wait for 30 days from now and if I don't receive anything, call them back.
Will wait and hope...

Since you have completed the important formalities for two.
Police compliant & applying for replacement cards. You are good.
If you need to travel outside USA, you can get your passport stamped stating that you have a GC. That should your travel needs. Now a days, replacement cards are very fast. You should be able to get them in 3 months period. Do not try to give false information to USCIS (Some one suggested you in this group)

My lawyer sent me the fedex tracking sheet for the I-485 package sent to:
USCIS
Nebraska Service Center
850 S Street
Lincoln, NE 68508
I did not see any PO Box on the Fedex tracking sheet. I am not sure if she put the PO Box on the shipping label or not??
Is it a big deal?? Will my application be accepted.
Please help
po box is for usps delivery only. fedex doesn't delivery mails addressed to po box.

Can people share their experience with same day counter passport collection from the vfs courier center at Chennai.
Reason I ask is, I and my wife have a 9AM appointment on 14th August. And Aug 15th being a holiday on account of India's Independence Day. Since we have to be in US on the 16th August to file for I485, getting the visa on the 16th would be too late. Therefore, it's critical that we collect the passport the same day.
Is anyone else in a similar situation? Should I inform the consular of our same night travel plans or is that ill-advised?

Each category(EB2 or EB3) has it's own cut off date. Per March VB, EB3 India is Aug 2001 and Eb2 is U. If VB date is current for both category then I-485 RD matters most.

My company has filed an AOS application on July 02 2007 using an approved EB3 I-140 (PD = Sep 2001). Then in Dec 2007, they have filed a EB2 I-140 using an approved EB2 PERM to convert the pending AOS apllication to EB2, hoping to port the priority date of pending AOS application to EB2 Sep 2001. EB2 priority dates were retrogressed after the EB2 I-140 was filed.
I am thinking of switching the job now. I don't expect USCIS to process the EB-2 I-140 for next 6 months or so. Is it safe to switch jobs in this situation? I have portability right now, since 180 days have passed after the AOS application was filed with EB3 I-140. Does the EB2 I-140 adversely affect the AC21 after I join the new employer. What will happen to my pending AOS application, when USCIS processes the EB2 I-140 from my original employer, before or after I have used AC21 from the new employer.

I called USCIS and they told me to wait for 30 days and then give them a call back. If I call them after 30 days about the missing card, they might open a case for it. I am not sure how many days it will take for them to send the replacement card.
Should I go ahead and send them the replacement application for the missing EAD? any suggestions/experiences?

Thanks, Sanju. I was wondering where to ask for assurance; looks like you have found a place. I too need some help: last time my fingerprint check took almost 8 months (!) and I gave one set of them again today. Can somebody assure me that they will comeback before the dates become U again. The desperation of your post suggests that you don't need direction, you need therapy. We just need someone to give us some assurance that we will all be fine and live to see the light of the day on Tuesday even if DoS sends out a revised Visa Bulletin. Don't go for the ICICI home loan. They are the first ones to increase the interest rate when ever theres a RBI changes the base rate. And the last one to decrease the interest rate when ever there's a base rate change. And some times they don't decrease at all.

I was doing part -time school in a university and before they wanted to admit me,the university procedures included TB test. I showed positive in skin test and negative in X-ray about 4 months ago.
But the school procedures expected me to take TB tablets otherwise they wont let me register for courses. For the last 4 months I am on TB medication, I have it going on until october of this year.
Right now, I am in a dilemma. Since all our PD's our current, we need to get medical examination done. I don't know how my skin test is going to be since I am taking meds.
Should I inform my doctor that I am on medications or should I just hide it?
And should I take a letter from my school health department about how I don't have TB but been given medicines for School purposes? What should I do?
Please advise.

your wife is exempt from EAD/AP fees. If you apply online for her EAD or AP, the system will automatically figure that out and will not charge anything additional
