WHAT!!! As if. All of apples headline style computers are way cool. We shouldnt have to put up with faults. A fault would mean it is no longer the coolest looking machine ever.

Some fringe Mormon groups believe in blood atonement. So they'd be able to get away with murder.

The Daily Telegraph disclosed in June that senior space agency scientists believed the Earth will be hit with unprecedented levels of magnetic energy from solar flares after the Sun wakes from a deep slumber sometime around 2013.]
Sometime around 2013? More likely 2012. 2012?!:eek::eek: We're all gonna die! We're all gonna die!:p
So that's how the world ends; a solar fart in our general direction.:(

You think that's bad? In Italy, when someone goes against the "will" of the federal labor union, they're found with a bullet in their head.
Just thought I'd let you know that. :D
PS-In a two week trip to Italy last summer, I was delayed by TWO transport labor strikes...according to locals, this happens regularly. You might wonder how they get stuff done if this happens so often. The short answer is that they don't.

I have Simple Mobile service. I had been told to disable the 3G option on my iPhone 3gs. Now I have a new iPhone 4. With Gevey, can I now use the 3G enable? Will my phone work on 3G network? Thank you!

What does Spymac offer, exactly?
Okay, nevermind. I know now, but I really don't know much about Spymac in general. Is it free? I couldn't find a price for it.
And if its free/cheap, what's the catch? How could they offer so much?

I have the Incase snap and I love it. The rubber/hard case material is enough to have a nice grip, and it won't slide, but I have no problems taking it out of a pocket. It's the same satin material as the Speck Satin cases for my MacBook Pro for example. I love how it doesn't cover too much of the phone, but leaves it protected. Would definitely recommend it, as it protects enough of the phone, but doesn't take away from the beauty of it.

That's what I was going to say. It's probably got nothing to do with DRM as they allow analog out to work.
HDMI is not an analog signal.
HDCP makes sure the content path is protected and only displayed via approved paths/methods.
If you're sending the output via HDMI, HDCP and DRM will prevent it from working if it fails the DRM check.
The Netflix app simply doesn't allow the stream to be redirected.
Same thing applies to their desktop app and even the app built into many TV's and Blu-Ray players.
The stream can only be sent to a device (TV, Video card, etc.) once it passes HDCP and DRM checks.
Older LCD's will still pass the check if the HDMI interface is secured.
Adapters tend to cause this check to fail.
The old HDTV's with DVI interface's are hit and miss on passing the HDCP check.

The only applications that might use this are military applications. Which are most likely classified applications. But in short, no, a normal application wouldn't use it. ;)

FYI, a cracked screen is not purely cosmetic.... a scratch might be. A crack can lead to moisture getting inside, or dust, etc. But on that note, once its fixed, it would be like new. Or someone can mickey mouse it.
PMed.
Thanks for the info! There has been no moisture/dust since it happened and it's already been a week. As far as it's current state, it's a perfectly functioning iPhone with the cosmetic flaws you see.
AS FAR AS PRICE, I have seen these go for $300 easily on eBay. My asking price is $300 OBO! Please make offers here as my PM Box is almost full! I'd rather sell to this community =)

Cool! thanks man! I'll try it now!
hope that works!
Actually I just got it second hand! too bad the previous user didn't fix it up!
P.S.
My local dealer is going to charge me about 55USD for fixing this problem. I can't believe users like us are PAYING the fix for a KNOWN issue. I hope the firmware works! Thanks a lot!!!

Drag the .app to the trash. Don't use cleanmymac, appzapper, appcleaner or any crap like that.
Ugh, I just bought CleanMyMac. Could you elaborate more why these products are bad to use? Thanks
Nevermind: I see someone just addressed my question as I was posting.

Price lowered to $450 on PC. If I can find them, I have a unopened copy of Quake 4 and The Sims 2.
Is the software Mac or PC compatible?

The jailbreak is not just software-based... So even if 4.2.1 is shipped with it (I think 4.3 will be on it), unless the bootrom exploit works on the new hardware then it will not be jailbreakable at the beginning.
